IBC SOLAR South Africa Wraps Up Roadshow
The Roadshow was made possible with the support of our sponsors: LONGi (solar modules), Victron Energy (inverters), and Solar MD (batteries). Their contributions ensured a meaningful programme of training, demonstrations, and interactive sessions tailored to the needs of local solar professionals and businesses.
The Roadshow focused on providing practical knowledge, strengthening industry relationships, and showcasing real-world solar applications. Key components included:
Technical Training Sessions: Held in locations such as the Garden Route, West Coast, and Cape Town, these sessions attracted over 65 installers. Participants gained insights into solar technologies, system design, and product applications, delivered by IBC SOLAR and its sponsors.
Participation at Industry Events: At events like George Landbou Skou, Nampo Cape, and SolarConnect, IBC SOLAR engaged with over 200 installers and key decision-makers from commercial enterprises, creating opportunities for collaboration and feedback.
Customer Site Visits: These visits offered commercial customers and industry professionals a closer look at operational solar installations, fostering trust and understanding of the benefits of solar energy.
The Roadshow helped strengthen IBC SOLAR’s presence in the Western Cape and build lasting connections with stakeholders. Through a combination of in-person events and online campaigns, the initiative raised awareness of solar energy’s potential to contribute to sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions.
The success of the 2024 Roadshow lays a solid foundation for continued growth in 2025. IBC SOLAR plans to build on these relationships through further training, community engagement, and innovative solar solutions tailored to South Africa’s energy needs.
