IBC SOLAR concluded 2023 with two vibrant year-end functions in Cape Town and Johannesburg, bringing together industry partners, stakeholders, and team members for an afternoon of celebration and recognition. The events provided an opportunity to acknowledge the collective efforts and achievements that have propelled IBC SOLAR's growth and success over the past year.

The event marked a significant moment for IBC SOLAR to acknowledge the support of their premium partners, whose commitment had been vital to their success over the past year.  Awards were presented to commend outstanding contributions from individuals and companies in the solar energy sector. Daniel Haitzler, IBC SOLAR's Managing Director, expressed excitement, stating, "This event celebrates our achievements and highlights the strong partnerships we've built in the solar industry. We're proud of our partners' contributions and eager to keep driving innovation and sustainability together."


In Cape Town, the Installer of the Year was named, while other notable awards included Project of the Year in the Commercial category and recognition for the Victron Installer of the Year and Residential Installer of the Year. In Johannesburg, the Installer of the Year for the area was also awarded, alongside recognitions for Project of the Year in Residential, Solar MD Installer of the Year, and the Newcomer of the Year. Additionally, they introduced their Premium Partners of 2024, based on their purchases and loyalty throughout 2023, reaffirming their commitment to nurturing strong partnerships within the industry. 


The awards ceremony also highlighted the invaluable support of trusted suppliers. In 2023, these suppliers demonstrated unwavering dedication, furnishing exceptional solar solutions for our customers and enhancing the significance of these awards. Heartfelt appreciation is extended to these esteemed suppliers for their steadfast support and generosity, which have been instrumental in the success of our endeavors. Special recognition is reserved for Solar MD, SMA, BYD, Fronius, Longi, Victron, GoodWe, Jolywood, and GREEN Solar Academy for their presence at the events and sponsorship of assorted gifts for the gift bags of our esteemed partners. The products furnished, including the Logger & Solar MD 14.3 Wall Mount, SMA EV Charger, Flex battery by BYD, Fronius Smart Meters, Longi modules, and Victron MultiPlus II 5000 GX, underscore their commitment to excellence and innovation. 


In an exciting development, IBC SOLAR welcomed Sungrow to its esteemed lineup of partners, announcing their inclusion in the product portfolio from January 2024. Sungrow's reputation for innovation and expertise in solar inverters, energy storage solutions, and floating PV systems adds a new dimension to IBC SOLAR's offerings, further solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.
